V.M. - Manual Valves for single acting cylinders*

VM32 - Manual valve 3 Way / 2 Positions
VM32 valve is a cheap and useful solution in all single acting applications. The 3 ways 2 pos. one, resemble the bypass fucntion of a handpump: closing the valve and starting the motor, the pressure is built up; when the motor is stopped, it keeps the pressure . To do the return, gradually open the valve to find the desired return speed. This solution allows the control of the return speed, so that no RFUA valve is needed.

VM33 - Manual valve 3 Way / 3 Positions
VM valve to be used with sigle effect cylinder. The 3 ways 3 pos. manual valve’s functioning is pretty simple. When the handle is left positioned and the engine is on, the load gets lifted. At this stage, if the engine is switched off, the load is kept: to make the return, the engine must be running and the handle of the valve must be right positioned. Central position allows the operator to keep the engine running and the pressure in the circuit at the same time, but shifting the position of the handle from left to the middle, causes a little oil leak with related bump of the load. To avoid such effect, is mandatory the implementation of a pilot operated check valve on both ports - RP. Whenever speed control of the load’s return phase is needed, the unidirectional flow control valve RFUA has to be implemented in the system.

VM33RP - Manual valve 3 Way / 3 Positions with check valve (for holding pressure)
Combination of VM33 valve and pilot operated check valve RP Pilot operate check valve (RP): Double pilot operated check valve on A and B to keep the load without any oil leaking. Example: with a standard manual valve, during transition of the handle from A to central position, you have a slight oil leak due to geometry of the valve and in some applications this is not acceptable. The pilot operated valve is indicated to avoid such problem. This valve is assembled on split flow pumps whenever no overcenter valve is mounted Note that to return the cylinder, the motor of the pump must be running.

VM43D - Manual valve 4 Way / 3 Positions
VM43D fits all double effect application – 700 bar on litfing and return phase . The 4 ways 3 pos. manual valve’s functioning is pretty simple. This valve is suitable for double effect or oil return cylinders only. The overcenter valve permits a controlled lowering phase of the load avoiding danger for the operator and for the hydraulic system itself. The valve is set to factory values, no reguation needed by the operator. The unidirectional flow control valve (RFUA) is a cheaper alternative to the overcenter valve: in this case, the operator must shut the valve before the lifting phase, to gradually open it during the lowering phase to set the return’s speed. This is obviously a cheaper way to obtain speed control during the lowering phase but the operator is exposed to danger due to a less accurate management of the load. Assembled on a split flow pump, the overcenter valve allows a fine control on the lowering phase too.

V.M. - Manual Valves for cylinders with oil return*

VM43 - Manual valve 4 Way / 3 Positions
VM43 fits all oil-return application – 700 bar lifting phase – 200 bar return phase. The 4 ways 3 pos. manual valve’s functioning is pretty simple. This is a cheap and smart solution in all those applications where is not needed keeping the load with the engine on. NOT SUITABLE FOR SPLIT FLOW PUMPS

VP32A - Pneumatic valve 3 Way / 2 Positions for accessories
Electric or pneumatic valve, suitable for application where keeping the load and the pressure is not needed ( for example nut splitters, portable presses and other simple effect tools). This solution features a control pendant with a single button: acting on the button,the engine is turned on and the pump builds pressure: on the contrary, the engine stops and the pressure is released.

VP33 - Pneumatic valve 3 Way / 3 Positions
Electric or pneumatic valve indicated in applications where the pressurised position of the application must be kept (for example in lifting applications with simple effect cylinders). The control pendant features two buttons. One is to start the engine and the lifting operation building up pressure in the tool. When the button is released, the engine stops and the load is being kept. Pushing the other button, the motor remains off while the solenoid valve gets energized releasing the pressure allowing the load to return. The fuctioning is the same of VE32/VP32 but having one more position, with a proper control electric setup, the load can be kept without switching off the motor. This is very useful in high cycle industrial activities. Split flow pumps must equip it to allow correction on a single output without affecting the others.

V.P. - Pneumatic Valves for double-acting cylinders*

VP43D - Pneumatic valve 4 Way / 3 Positions
Available with electric or pneumatic control. Suitable for double effect applications. (for example lifting and pulling application with CDE cylinders). The control pendant features two buttons. One is to start the engine and the lifting operation building up pressure in the cylinder. When the button is released, the engine stops and the load is being kept. Pushing the other button, with the motor on, the load returns.
